这是一首怀乡思归的抒情诗。以兴开首，借鸿雁南飞，引起客居思归之情。中间写望见孤帆远去，想到自己无法偕同的怅惘，最后写欲归不得的郁积。 |

全诗情感是复杂的。诗人既羡慕田园生活，有意归隐，但又想求官做事，以展鸿图。这种矛盾，就构成了诗的内容。 |

|
孟浩然：（689 740），字浩然，襄州襄阳（今湖北襄樊）人。早年隐居鹿门山，四十岁入长安应进士考落第，失意东归，自洛阳东游吴 越，即所谓山水寻吴越，风尘厌洛京。张九龄出镇荆州，引为从事，后病疽卒。他是不甘隐沦而以隐沦终老的诗人。其诗多写山水田园的幽清境界，却不时流露出一种失意情绪，所以诗虽冲淡而有壮逸之气，为当世诗坛所推崇。 |
